New Summer Classes Coming!

I've now booked upcoming Summer classes at Scrapbook Barn in Gilbert, Guadalupe and Val Vista Roads.  Take note that they moved out of their location in the plaza, but moved right next door in the old Hallmark.  Call 480-503-2475

I have beginning Do-Tangle (101)  drawing classes as well as Do-Tangle (102) Colored Pencil and Markers coming up.  New classes for kids too!   Anyone can draw!  Call Scrapbook Barn to register -classes are filling up quickly for summer!

Tuesday     July 21 Scrabble Tile Class 6:00-8:00 p.m.  Youth - Adult

This is a new class to make keychains, zipper pulls (great for backpacks) and jewelry.  Use scrabble tiles and add your own or other artwork for a one-of-a-kind piece!

alcohol inks, shaving cream and more!

Still working.....

Hi all - Still working on my new faces while taking an online course.   Here's my latest.

I like to use whimsey in my designs and lots of color.  This is done with watercolor colored pencils and prismacolor pencils.   I will be back at Jerry's Artarama in Tempe come July for some fun summer classes in drawing with ink and colored pencils.   Calendar of classes coming soon!

New Direction

I have been taking an online class from Willowing called Fabulous Faces.  I have always wanted to work on faces, portraits, characters and whimsical faces.  I did the below one as my first project from Week 1 and 2.   We are working on eyes and the shadows in the face.   I got her done using graphite pencil, watercolor pencils and a small amount of acrylic.   After finishing I just felt something was missing.  I couldn't stand it............I had to tangle her!   My faces and drawings will definitely take a whimsical turn.   I love this style of drawing and the use of color.  I'll be posting projects as I progress through the class.
